Resort Guidelines
To ensure a relaxing and safe experience for all guests, we kindly ask that the following guidelines be observed during your stay at Stonehaven Cottages.
Check-In & Occupancy
Self check-in upon arrival to your cottage. The code for door locks will be provided in advance through email or text.
Cottage occupancy is limited to two guests per bedroom, with a maximum of two additional guests, unless prior arrangements have been made for larger families.
Guests must check out of their cottage by 11:00 a.m. on departure day.
Stays are limited to 14 consecutive nights, though extensions may be granted based on availability.
Guests must be at least 18 years old to reserve and stay at the resort.
Valid identification and proof of age are required.
The primary guest is responsible for all individuals in their party, including minors, and is liable for any rule violations.
Campfires
We support the “Don’t Move Firewood” initiative to prevent the spread of invasive insects and tree diseases.
Fires must be built only in the designated fire ring.
Firewood may not be transported from other locations.
Firewood may only be gathered on-site from dead and downed trees.
Fires must never be left unattended
Quiet Hours & General Conduct
To preserve the peaceful nature of our resort:
Quiet hours are observed from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Garbage should be left inside your cottage; resort owners will dispose of it properly.
Fireworks are not permitted.
Fighting, threatening behavior, or unlawful activity is strictly prohibited.
Discharging firearms on the property is not allowed.
Pets
We are sorry, but pets are not permitted at Stonehaven Cottages.
Motor Vehicles & Boats
The speed limit throughout the property is 10 mph.
4-wheelers, UTVs, and ATVs are not allowed on hiking or skiing trails.
These vehicles may be operated only on gravel driveways and the main road for entering and exiting the property.
All motor vehicles must have factory exhaust systems. Loud mufflers are not permitted.
Parking
Please park all vehicles and trailers at your assigned cottage site.
Overflow parking is available. Please check with management if needed.
Swimming & Water Activities
There is no lifeguard on duty. All swimming and water activities are done at your own risk.
Alcohol Policy
No person under the age of 21 may possess or consume alcoholic beverages.
Guests 21 and over must provide valid identification upon request.
Violations
Violation of any resort guideline may result in eviction. Guests who are evicted are not entitled to a refund and may not be permitted to return.
Cancellation Policy
Refunds are based on the timing of your cancellation:
Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to scheduled arrival receive a full refund.
Cancellations made between 7 - 13 days of arrival receive a 50% refund of the reservation fee.
Cancellations made 6 days or less of arrival receive no refund.
